A real-time machine data platform collects live signals from manufacturing equipment and presents them in an operational context. Harmoni connects CNC machine status, cycle time, utilization, downtime reasons, operator and job activity, quality records, and ERP data. Teams can use that information to understand current production conditions, address losses while they are occurring, and improve reporting for capacity, job costing, and performance management.

Harmoni supports major CNC controls and manufacturing equipment, including Mazak, Haas, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens, DMG MORI, Makino, and Fadal. It is MTConnect-native where supported and uses adapter layers for older controls. The platform is designed to connect to existing equipment across different ages and manufacturers, so a machine replacement is not required to begin collecting operational data.

It can push labor records, machine production time, scrap, and quality data into the ERP automatically. This reduces manual entry and CSV-based reconciliation while improving job costing, capacity planning, and finance reporting.

Harmoni uses long-range RFID technology to identify employees and jobs at the machine without requiring manual badge swipes or keyboard entry. When an operator approaches a workcenter, the platform can associate the operator and job, surface the appropriate instructions, support time tracking, and help load the correct program for the relevant part revision. Labor records can then flow into connected ERP workflows.

Yes. Harmoni’s automated program loading uses RFID-detected job and part revision information to load the correct CNC program, settings, offsets, and tool data. Digital work instructions can also present the appropriate setup sheets, engineering drawings, and SOPs at the machine. Together, these controls reduce reliance on paper documents and manual program selection, helping prevent wrong-program and wrong-revision scrap.

Yes. Digital checksheets replace paper in-process inspection forms with electronic records completed at the machine. Operators can record measurements digitally, while teams review real-time quality trends through SPC-style control charts. Each job receives an auditable digital quality record.
