A manufacturing facility will rarely have a uniform collection of machines. More typically, a shop will have a mix of brands, capabilities, and machine age suited to the various work cell needs. That is why we have built our devices to be highly adaptable. Regardless of the machine, each Harmoni terminal has everything you need built-in — no additional servers needed.

We ❤️ All Machines

We have built-in drivers to talk to everything from the newest machines to the oldest.

Our built-in connectors can handle anything you want to connect: RS232, ethernet, USB, CAN bus, 1-wire, and more.
FANUC FOCAS
For machines with FANUC controls, Harmoni includes a powerful FANUC FOCAS driver. This driver provides us with rich details coming from the machine and powerful ways to load programs, settings, offsets, etc.

HAAS
We also have a driver for HAAS controls with RS-232 or Ethernet machine data collection. No additional hardware is required as each Harmoni device has all connectivity built-in. This same connection can also be used for program loading.
Analog & Current Sensors
Each Harmoni device has five analog inputs or current sensors that can be used to determine machine state when no other driver is suitable. Especially for very old machines, this option provides a way to bring modern capabilities without replacing the machine. Typically, the approach here would be to tap into the same lines that power the machines and light and map those to states within Harmoni.

MTConnect
Each Harmoni device has a MTConnect driver so if your machine has that capability, we simply point to the machine address. The Harmoni device can also act as a means of translating non-MTConnect feeds to that standard.
OPC UA
Harmoni also includes an OPC UA server. This allows you to integrate with machines (Siemens for example) that use this standard without the hassle of setting up additional servers to collect the data. The Harmoni terminal handles everything for you.
