The Harmoni terminal includes a vivid, high-intensity indicator light that communicates OEE conditions to operators and managers from afar.

This is not your typical andon light! While any basic andon light can show whether your machine’s spindle is running, this indicator is giving you a lot more intelligence than that. It is telling you whether your machine is running efficiently, not just running.

Green – Acceptable OEE Performance

When the machine is running within the expected performance metrics (i.e. the machine is producing parts at a rate that is consistent with the expected production rate) the indicator light will show green.

Yellow – Diminishing OEE Performance

As performance slips, this indicator will change from green to yellow. This could be caused by the machine spindle being stopped, the machine not producing parts within an acceptable band of expectations, among many other factors. This allows you to catch and address problems in real-time, as they are happening, and before they become yesterday’s bad performance numbers.

Red – Poor OEE Performance

Poor performance will be presented with a red indicator. A machine could be running consistently, but the Harmoni terminal is presenting a red indicator. Why? The answer will be a few taps away on the Harmoni terminal. Perhaps the machine is running at low speed, or perhaps it was turned off all morning and just recently turned on prior to the management floor walk. All of this information will be displayed on the terminal, and the root cause of the problem can be addressed.
